| Gateway Club Update The Gateway Award Scheme for children aged 8 - 13, has had a successful start and a name change! The Club is now known as the 813 Club. The Club runs on Friday evenings at Harpenden House, Edwards Lane between 6pm and 8pm, and there are still some places available . | What is the Gateway Award? The Gateway Award 8-13 is intended to bring children and young people together in an inclusive way to enable them to take part in a range of activities. There are four 'zones': Active Zone Adventure Zone Soundz Arty Zone People and the Planets Zone Within each zone there are several sections to choose from. Participants work at their own pace and choose their own sections. A certificate and choice of badge, pen or key ring is awarded at the end of each section. The full award is gained once a minimum of three sections from each zone is completed. Each participant also receives an innovative 8-13 Activity pack and Project file. |
