What makes it difficult when people
with severe learning difficulties
move into adult services?

Jennifer Clegg, Elizabeth Murphy and
Kathryn Almack from The University of
Nottingham along with Nottingham Mencap
conducted a research project to find out why.

This project set out to study the process of
transition to adult services for a group of
young people with severe learning
difficulties who were leaving school and
entering adult services in 2004 and 2005.
